Reflexions.../ Sold
Last summer I travelled to Venice, in order to see the Biennale and work with an american painter, Barry John Raybould. (I suggest that you take a look at his site, there is a lot of interesting things to discover - www.bjrgallery.com)
During this week, I took a lot of photos and did a lot of sketches.
This watercolor painting is the result of a photo and a quick sketch. One thing that really catched my eyes were the reflexions of the buildings in the canals.
In the days to come i hope you'll see more paintings from Venice.
What do you think of this one?

"Pebbles" A watercolor experiment
Due to server problems, I didn;t post for some days.
Today's painting is an experiment. I started by creating some abstract forms with a sponge using masquing fluid. Then I worked loosely around with muted comlementary colors (red-green) with a touch of yellow ochre here and there. I splashed a warm grey (ultramarine-burned sienna) and left it to dry. Removing the mask I worked in the white negative shapes with pure bright colors. Finally I added the shadows under these forms. The result gives me the idea of colored pebbles in the sand.
Enjoy!

"The blue pitcher" - Watercolor
Good morning!
Officially this is my first post to the daily paintings. It's a small watercolor (9,5 x 11,5 cm). I worked with Neocolor watersoluble crayons of Caran d' Ache. I like them very much because they produce a very loose and dynamic effect as well. I would like to know if somebody else is using them and your personal experience.
Thank you for passing by.

A VERY UNUSUAL COURSE!
I'm evaluating a multi-media course on blogging from the folks at Simpleology. For a while, they're letting you snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.
It covers:
- The best blogging techniques.
- How to get traffic to your blog.
- How to turn your blog into money.
I'll let you know what I think once I've had a chance to check it out. Meanwhile, go grab yours while it's still free.
