Morning watercolor sketch

This morning, while drinking my coffee, I took out the pocket watercolor box that you saw in my last post. Enjoy the results!

Just an idea...

This is my watercolor pocket box! Actually is a cigarettes box that I transformed. It contains everything I need for quick watercolor sketches. Papers, pencils, colors, sponge... It's ultra light and ultra small so I can always have it in my purse, together with a water brush of course!

The way out...

Feeling very frustrated today I needed a way out...
So took my brushes and a very limited palette.

Back to my roots...

This morning I felt the need to go back to my roots...
So I took out my humble pencil and soft pastels box...
There, was this rose next to my bed waiting for me!

Mixed media on canvas paper. I used acrylic to paint the flower. The bee is a collage with yellow wallpaper and transparent tracing paper as well. Then I reworked with acrylic on the top.
