Reflexions.../ Sold

Last summer I travelled to Venice, in order to see the Biennale and work with an american painter, Barry John Raybould. (I suggest that you take a look at his site, there is a lot of interesting things to discover - www.bjrgallery.com)
During this week, I took a lot of photos and did a lot of sketches.
This watercolor painting is the result of a photo and a quick sketch. One thing that really catched my eyes were the reflexions of the buildings in the canals.
In the days to come i hope you'll see more paintings from Venice.

A seashell drawing....

Some years ago, while sailing in Tzia (Kea island), a friend of mine found this shell and offered it to me. Since then, I use it very often as a reference for sketches, drawings, paintings. I love its form and colors. This particular drawing is dedicated to someone who loves the sea....
